| The snowfall has been heavy and all the kids are out snowboarding. They build a giant snowball which careers out of their control and crashes onto the railway line. Whilst some of them stay to wave at the train and try to make it stop the others snowboard to Thompson Ground and find Pat on his rounds. Pat quickly jumps on a snowboard and bravely surfs to the railway line. The kids are impressed by Pat's snowboarding prowess although actually Pat is terrified. Pat manages to get the attention of the train by waving his coat with reflective bands. The train stops just in time. Pat the kids and the passengers clear the track of snow. Pat is a hero.
